Sparcos on a Volvo wagon? A quick google image search shows me a few overland-y Volvos with these wheels. But what about for a daily-driven dad wagon? Too wanna-be-overland-but-actually-just-going-to-preschool ... ? Or what. I dunno just thinking about a second set of wheels so I can get dedicated snows and swap easily.

But seriously, I want wheels that make this not-just-another-Volvo because I see about 5 of these every day on my way to work. But I don’t want to look like a poser either.

I told my gf to shift into D but didn’t follow it up with dad but it wound up how you’d expect

I don’t like them, but that’s why feeling on the wheel instead of the wheel+car combination. In any event, get what looks cool to you, and don’t worry about what we think!

I do always have a roof rack for bikes or skis or boats... and my windows are tinted which I think helps the overall look of the car. I’m on the fence. They are on sale though...

Tint is a sweet nectar from the gods that offers a tiny modicum of salvation for both man and machine’s interior from that hateful, fiery, oppressive orb of despair in the sky. Of course, I’ve also been told there are places where people like and even pray for sun. I’m not from one of those places. We hope for days without seeing the sun, and you know what they say about hope... Perhaps I’ll try living in one of those other places someday.

Factory tint... but I always prefer tint anyway, especially on a wagon body.

Nah, I live in one of those places where we love to see the sun and I still enjoy the tint. I think it just looks better, if nothing else.

I get it, I just don’t like tint. Glass should be clear!

In my experience, Americans love tint way, way more than Canadians. If I drive South for 20 minutes it’s all tint and bumper stickers.

By the time I drive it into the ground, then give it to my kids as their first car, it’ll probably look like that hahah
